About me

My name is Camilla and I would love to show you Venice through the eyes of a true local!
I was born and raised here and I’ve always had a passion for art and history. For this reason I studied Art History at Cà Foscari University of Venice and concluded my studies with my masters degree at the Birkbeck University of London where I lived for a couple of years. In 2017, after few experiences abroad I decided to come back to my city and to become a tour guide so that I could share the love for my homeland with the guests of Venice!

My passion is in discovering, studying and designing new itineraries, not only in Venice but among all the surrounding Venetian islands… It is an endless and ever evolving joy! Another element included in my tours is Italian gastronomy, and Venice cuisine in particular. There are so many interesting stories behind every local wine and dish which I would be delighted to share with you! I love to learn from each and every client I meet on my tours, and its such an honour to share my intimate knowledge of my city with them in return!

"Camilla was such a personable and knowledgeable host. Living in Venice her entire life gave her an insight that I would not have found on my own. She took us to great little taverns, bars and appetizer spots. She dropped bits of info on architecture, history, local wine and just interesting points that I really appreciated. I would TOTALLY recommend them for your 2nd day there so you have your bearings and some knowledge for the rest of your trip. And, flying solo, I made a friend I ran around with from the tour. Loved Camilla!"

"This tour was such a great choice for our fist day in Venice! We were lucky to have Camilla as our guide, she had great energy and plenty to share about her hometown. We got a good mix of facts, history and recommendations and it was so interesting discovering all the historical foodie spots that we probably wouldn't have know to visit. All the cicchetti we had were delicious and I would recommend not having breakfast before, we were so full! :)
Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Venice. Thank you Camilla!"
